A Season Of Intention At Phāea Cretan Malia
Holistic Wellness Program Includes Sound Healing, Embodiment, and Art as Therapy
PHĀEA continues its commitment to sustainable operations, conserving natural resources, supporting local communities, and preserving the rich heritage of Crete
For centuries, Crete has been a place of pilgrimage—not just for sun-seekers, but for those in search of something deeper. An island shaped by myth, where energy pulses through ancient olive groves and Minoan ruins, it is a natural haven for restoration. This summer, Phāea Cretan Malia invites travelers to experience a transformative wellness series that harmonizes modern healing practices with the island’s ancestral wisdom.
As wellness tourism continues to evolve beyond traditional spa treatments, this summer’s holistic program is not about passive relaxation—it’s about active transformation, offering guests the tools to return home renewed, recalibrated, and inspired.
A selection of holistic practitioners—leaders in sound therapy, movement, and artistic expression—will guide guests through immersive experiences designed to recalibrate mind, body, and spirit. From the deep resonance of sound baths to intuitive embodiment workshops, these sessions offer the ultimate antidote to the high-speed demands of contemporary life.

Enter Manolis Zografakis, a certified sound therapist and master of sacred acoustics, who will lead a series of deeply immersive sonic experiences.
- Sunset Sound Bath | June 20 As the sun melts into the Cretan horizon, guests will be bathed in the therapeutic frequencies of Tibetan singing bowls, crystal bowls, gongs, chimes, and voice. This full-body listening experience guides participants into deep relaxation, dissolving stress and restoring inner harmony.
- Voice Activation & Sound Healing | July 18 Harnessing the power of vocal toning, this session begins with guided breathwork and vocal resonance exercises before transitioning into a sound bath. Designed to unblock energy centers and reconnect guests to their authentic voice, this experience is both grounding and transformative.
- Mantra Chanting & Sound Bath | August 22 Blending the ancient art of mantra chanting with vibrational healing, this workshop encourages deep self-exploration. As participants chant sacred syllables, they attune themselves to higher frequencies before surrendering to a final sound immersion.

THE BODY AS A TEMPLE: MOVEMENT & EMBODIMENT PRACTICES WITH ALEXANDRA VRANOPOULOU

Alexandra is a seasoned embodiment facilitator, healer, and founder of The Journeys of Remembering
In a world dominated by overthinking, the art of embodiment is a radical act. Two workshops in July invite guests to reestablish a profound connection with their physical and emotional selves, guided by Alexandra Vranopoulou, a distinguished embodiment facilitator and healer.
A Journey of Art & Soul | July 4
- Led by Alexandra, this workshop fuses meditation with creative expression. Participants will channel their inner world through painting, music, poetry, dance, or photography—an invitation to externalize emotions through art.
A Journey of Embodiment | July 5
- Bringing together somatic practices, meditation, and intuitive movement, this session reconnects guests with their internal landscapes. By understanding the emotional imprints held within different organs and body parts, participants learn to decode their body’s signals and release stored tension.
