About Fýri Resort: Hemsedal, Norway
Set 625 meters above sea level in the dramatic folds of Hemsedal, Fýri Resort is a modern expression of Scandinavian mountain living, a place equal parts design retreat and outdoor base camp. The property’s architecture and interiors embrace a warm, tactile Nordic aesthetic: stone, timber, wool, and soft, earthen hues inspired by the surrounding peaks.
In summer and early autumn, the mountains unfurl into a playground of deep forests, glacier-fed rivers, and more than forty marked hiking trails that begin at the resort’s doorstep. Cycling, climbing, fly-fishing, and horseback riding carry guests into Hemsedal’s quieter corners, while the resort’s team curates bespoke routes for every level of exploration. In winter, world-class skiing dominates the rhythm of the valley, with Fýri as the social hub before and after the slopes.
At the heart of the resort lies the 1,000 m² Fýri Pool Club, a cinematic expanse of heated indoor-outdoor pools, firepits, lounges, and mountain views that stretch into dusk. Dining is convivial and ingredient-led, with menus shaped by Nordic seasonality.
About Ellery Beach House: Lidingö, Stockholm
Ellery Beach House is Stockholm’s singular beach resort combining a bold blend of seaside escape, design-forward retreat and cultural playground, nestled at Elfviks udde on Lidingö, just 20 minutes from the city center.
Here, the shoreline and the forest converge, creating a dramatic setting for the resort’s distinctive identity: four heated pools (three outdoor, one indoor), a private pier, outdoor gym and paddle courts, all anchored by the Coco Beach Club, a buzzy, energetic mix of poolside lounges, fire-relaxed cabanas, pool-pier saunas and live sets.
Inspired by Palm Springs in the 60s and 70s, the interiors play with curves, pastels, textures and an unapologetically playful design language. It is also a resort where “bleasure” (business + pleasure) becomes elevated leisure: where meetings, music, gastronomy, art and nature converge seamlessly. Ellery offers 122 rooms, 11 meeting spaces for up to 250 guests, restaurants including the Mediterranean-Tel Aviv-inspired Palmers and the lively Cali-style Coco, all designed for both leisure and social dynamism.
About Hotel Pigalle: Gothenburg, Sweden
Nestled just steps from Gothenburg Central Station, Hotel Pigalle is a boutique refuge where Parisian grandeur meets Nordic design audacity. Housed in an 18th-century palace on Södra Hamngatan, the hotel immerses guests in a world of velvet armchairs, William Morris wallpapers and shimmering brass details, all with the critical precision of Scandinavian craftsmanship.
Within its 81 individually styled rooms and two signature suites lies a narrative of cultural crossover: sophistication born of French influence, grounded in Swedish sensibility. Whether drifting toward the rooftop terrace for city-scape views, slipping into the piano-bar’s late-night hum or dining at Atelier — where French-Swedish cuisine subtly reinvents Parisian joie de vivre — the experience feels consciously curated yet effortlessly alive.
About Maryhill Estate: Skåne, Sweden
In fall 2024, a new chapter in Nordic resort design rose on Sweden’s southern coast. Maryhill Estate, situated just 40 minutes from Malmö and one hour from Copenhagen, merges historic elegance with modern vitality housed within the restored 1918 Örenäs Castle and its contemporary annex, The Sugar Club.
By day, the estate’s 163 rooms span two distinct characters: the castle-chic sophistication of Hill House, and the energetic, resort-style flair of The Sugar Club, with its heated pool club, garden courts, and social lounges. Culinary ambition defines Maryhill: two dining destinations, bars, and a gastronomy program led by chef-executives who bridge tradition and innovation.
Here, guests float effortlessly between tennis and padel, pétanque and croquet, poolside cocktails and forest-edge walks overlooking the Öresund Strait. Maryhill Estate provides travelers with an immersive escape where heritage and leisure converge on equal terms, offering a resort experience rooted in Scandinavian ease, design clarity and sophisticated relaxation.
About Jacy’z Hotel & Resort: Gothenburg, Sweden
A striking tower rising 27 stories above Gothenburg’s skyline, Jacy’z Hotel & Resort redefines the city-hotel paradigm. Anchored in a landmark glass tower, the property merges resort-style scale, urban sophistication and Nordic design to create a destination far beyond the conventional hotel stay.
Inside its 233 rooms and two dramatic pool-club levels, guests can immerse themselves in beach-club energy, rooftop views and high-tech experiences, all just minutes from the city center. Fittingly, Jacy’zcalls itself “27 floors of pure entertainment” which affectionately references its multiple restaurant and bar concepts, live-performance Big Stage venue, sequenced wellness environments and creative event spaces.
