ESSOESS – A Scandi Hotel Brand Launches a Yacht This Summer in Mallorca

ESS Group, the Nordic hospitality company behind some of the region’s most distinctive destinations, including award-winning Maryhill Estate in southern Sweden, archipelago retreat Ellery Beach House outside Stockholm, mountain resort Fýri in Norway, and Denmark’s new ROX Resort, has launched ESSOESS, a 24-meter yacht based in Palma de Mallorca.

Across its portfolio, ESS has built a reputation for creating highly social destinations shaped as much by atmosphere, food, music, and personality as by accommodation itself. ESSOESS brings that same spirit onto the water.

Docked beneath Palma’s cathedral, the yacht is available for half-day, full-day, overnight, and multi-day experiences, accommodating up to eight overnight guests and 12 day guests. Routes explore the Balearics through hidden coves, beach clubs, and swimming spots, while onboard experiences include baysurfing, paddleboarding, snorkelling, dining, music, and the highly personalised service that defines the broader ESS universe.

What makes the concept notable is that the yacht is not positioned as a standalone charter business. Instead, it functions as another expression of the brand; it’s a floating extension of the same lifestyle that guests encounter at its hotels, restaurants and bars.
