Overseas Network Appoints Michael Kelly As CEO, Marking A New Phase In Global Sports Strategy

Overseas Network has appointed Michael Kelly as Chief Executive Officer, marking a new phase in the company’s evolution as it expands its presence across international sports, travel and events strategy.

Kelly brings more than 25 years of experience across the sports and travel industry, spanning revenue growth, international expansion, corporate strategy, and the delivery of large-scale hospitality, ticketing, accommodation, and transportation programs for major global events.

He joins from MATCH Hospitality, where he served as Chief Revenue Officer, leading global sales and business development across FIFA, UEFA, Formula 1, and other international events. His tenure included record-breaking hospitality and travel package sales for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. He later served as Chief Revenue Officer at BEYOND Hospitality, securing major event hospitality and travel contracts for the FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Champions League, and CONMEBOL Copa América.

Earlier in his career, Kelly held senior leadership roles within MATCH Group and at FIFA, developing deep operational expertise across the full ecosystem of major sporting events. Prior to entering the sports industry, he worked as a corporate financial analyst at Marriott International and as a manager at A.T. Kearney, building a foundation in financial and strategic planning that continues to inform his approach.

Having delivered events in more than 20 countries across five continents, Kelly brings a distinctly international perspective shaped by both operational scale and cultural understanding.
