Coquillade Provence Launches Companions Welcome:A Luxury Dog-Friendly Program Featuring First-of-Its-Kind “K9 Sommelier”Menu, Private Doggy Pools and Estate Walking Maps
Coquillade Provence, the five-star estate nestled in the heart of the Luberon, today announces the launch of Companions Welcome — a dedicated luxury dog program built around a first-of-its-kind K9 Sommelier menu, private doggy pools in select suites, and signature walking trails across 104 acres of vineyards and forest. Rooted in the art de vivre that defines Provençal life, it turns a stay at Coquillade into a destination for the whole family — four legs included.
The program arrives as pet-friendly travel reaches new heights. A recent Allianz Partners report found that more than 40% of travelers aged 34 to 54 plan to bring their pets on their next holiday — part of a broader cultural shift in how families define travel. The global pet travel services market, valued at $2.4 billion in 2024, is projected to more than double to $5.3 billion by 2034.
On arrival, canine guests are welcomed with a VIP arrival kit that includes a cozy pet basket, a plush bone, fresh water and food bowls, and a thoughtful selection of organic treats by premium German pet care brand LILA LOVES IT. Higher room categories add a calming spray and a Coquillade Provence scarf, and select suites also feature private doggy pools. A dedicated set of estate maps charts the most scenic routes across the property’s surrounding vineyards and forest paths, inviting dogs and their companions to explore the Luberon landscape at their own pace.
The centerpiece of the program is the K9 Sommelier menu – a first-of-its-kind canine dining experience served via in-room VIP Room Service. Each dish reflects the estate’s commitment to provenance and quality, developed around a dog’s nutritional wellbeing and held to the same standard of care the kitchen brings to its human guests. The opening menu features three signature bowls: the Chicken & Garden Vegetables Bowl, balanced chicken émincé with seasonal vegetables and rice; the Beef Provençal Bowl, a slow-cooked beef preparation with vegetables and gentle herbs adapted for canine nutrition; and the Turkey & Rice Healthy Bowl, a light recipe with rice and vegetables designed for wellbeing and easy digestion.

In some of our suites, we have introduced small doggy pools so our four-legged guests can cool off in the Provençal sunshine. And our ‘Best Doggy of the Season’ contest, where guests share photos of their pets enjoying the estate, has become one of those joyful moments people love to document and revisit.”
