PR Executive
Role Overview
As a PR Executive, you will support AMPR’s account teams in delivering impactful PR campaigns for high-end hospitality brands. You will gain hands-on experience in luxury communications, media relations, influencer engagement, and event coordination, working alongside an international network of industry leaders.
The right candidate must have a genuine passion for managing ongoing communications and using their initiative to achieve exceptional results. Strong written and communication skills, as well as an understanding of public relations are essential. An interest or background in the travel & hospitality industry is desirable. A proficient command of the English language is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior team members in the development and execution of PR strategies and campaigns for luxury hospitality and lifestyle clients, as well as day to day account management.
- Coordinate with PR/Comms team to support in editorial calendar updates, pitching, maintaining media communications tracker, and asset delivery (press kits, images, credits); assist with drafting press releases, media alerts, pitches, among other communications.
- Build, maintain, and update media lists, cultivating relationships with journalists, influencers, and content creators.
- Monitor media coverage and create media “clippings” (digital, print, podcasts, social mentions); maintain an organized coverage tracker; compile PR reports, and evaluate results against KPIs.
- Handle basic client requests independently, escalating where appropriate.
- Support press trip logistics and media visit hosting, including planning, itinerary building and post-trip follow-ups; as well as support with planning and logistics for media events and gifting, and influencer activations from planning to execution to follow-ups.
- Research industry trends and competitor activity to provide actionable insights, ensuring clients remain ahead.
- Support with daily social media engagement across company channels (IG, FB, LinkedIn), including moderating comments/DMs, and community building/follow relevant media; support in building monthly content calendar.
- Contribute to creative and strategic brainstorming sessions.
- Provide timely and accurate administrative support and collaborate with the wider AMPR team to deliver creative, high-quality results.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field.(agency experience is a plus).
- 2–3 years of experience in PR, communications, or marketing (internships included).
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills in English is essential.
- Understanding and passion for luxury hospitality, lifestyle, and travel industry.
- Exceptional organizational, collaboration and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
- Strong initiative and ability to work well independently delivering results.
- Proficiency in Apple iOS, MS Office; Google Drive and Dropbox; familiarity with PR software (such as MuckRack, Adobe, Canva, Meltwater, Cision, etc.) is a plus.
- A proactive, positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn, and work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
