Founded in 2020 by Andria Mitsakos, Anthologist is a cross-cultural design brand rooted in craft, memory, and the applied arts. Drawing from Greek heritage and shaped by a global perspective, the brand works across objects, interiors, and hospitality collaborations, giving contemporary form to material tradition and place.
Positioned at the intersection of decorative arts and modern life, Anthologist collaborates closely with artisans and creative communities, treating preservation as an active, evolving practice. Materials, techniques, and human skill are central to the work, with each piece informed by process, provenance, and context.
The Chimera—Anthologist’s emblem—reflects this ethos: an ancient symbol of plurality and transformation, where tradition and imagination coexist. Across its environments and collections, furniture approaches sculpture, retail becomes ritual, and design operates as a shared language.
Anchored by its Athens showroom, Anthologist operates standalone stores at COSME, a Luxury Collection Resort, and Parīlio, a Member of Design Hotels, in Paros, with additional locations forthcoming in Athens and Milos in 2026. The brand is also stocked in Athens at Hotel Grande Bretagne’s retail store, GB Corner, and in the United States at The Getty Museum.
