Istoria, a member of Design Hotels, is an intimate retreat across two locations; the brand new Istoria Cliff in the peaceful caldera village of Firostefani and Istoria Beach, on the iconic Perivolos Beach. As a proud member of Design Hotels, Istoria features 21 idyllic suites and villas that embrace privacy and tranquility, with strikingly arched architecture. Many suites feature private outdoor hot tubs or pools, creating intimate spaces for guests to unwind.
While the original Istoria remains anchored on the black sands of Perivolos Beach featuring 12 suites, the new location in Firostefani reinterprets the brand’s identity within the sculptural landscape of the caldera. Conceived as a cave-like retreat, Istoria Cliff, introduces nine elegant cliff suites that draw on the site’s history which was once a stable, subtly continuing the hotel’s equestrian references.
Istoria invites guests to experience a unique residential dual beach and cliff concept infused with timeless charm. Taking its name from the Greek word for “story,” Istoria feels as though it has always belonged to this storied landscape honouring the island’s dual character.
